This 1965 VW T1 Single Cab its a beast. It had an engine swap.
The engine is a built 3.3L EG33 subaru 6 cylinder, with twin Garrett GT28R turbos and a custom aluminum intake with internal liquid intercolers.
The chassis/frame was completely custom fabricated and reinforced as well, with double wishbone front and pushrod rear suspension, coilovers, and wilwood disk brakes. It has a 5 speed subaru transmission with a quaife LSD. Not to mention, fully functional AC and power steering. Possibly the craziest single cab ever built… and if you see what they started with you’ll be even more impressed!
The Subaru powered Single Cab it’s just debuted at SEMA 2018.
