Trevor Sharpe in his 2276cc 350bhp+ turbo charged Hot Wheels Split Screen Bus setting the new UK record for a VW Campervan on a street track on the Circuit De Chimay in Belgium at EBI 6, with a time of 12.52 @ 120mph.
His bus was was so stable at the top end after experimenting with tyre pressures, Trevor was able to carry on accelerating up the long run off area.
The Fire Bus in the far lane, also from the UK, put in a good run of 13.2 @ 100mph, and also got into the 12’s later in the day with a run of 12.991.
